Our office is a 7 member health oriented team of professionals dedicated to serving people. We have committed ourselves to maintain a high skill and knowledge level dedicated to your dental health and comfort. Dr. Orimo has trained at the Center for Advanced Dental Study/ Dawson Academy with Pete Dawson, DDS and at the Piper education & Research Center with Mark Piper MD, DDS gaining advanced restorative dental and TMJ Disorder training. He has also lectured on the subjects to other dentists at meetings and in Study Groups. He is a member of the ADA, CDA, Equilibration Society, San Joaquin Study Club and San Joaquin Dental Society.
Restorative Dentistry and TMJ Disorders
Restorative Dentistry places a focus on proper alignment, contour and spacing of all teeth for optimal function, esthetics and cleasibility. Materials and techniques are chosen to achieve this goal and the goals of the patient. TMJ Disorders occur when the muscles,ligaments, and/or the joint structure of both jaws becomes incoordinated, injured, and/or becomes painful.

All cases begin with a complete exam looking not at just decay and gum problems, but a review of TMJ status, function and chewing issues involving wear, mobility and mobile teeth. A discussion is initiated to review your goals and desires and anything which holds you back from pursuing treatment. A plan is designed and discussed, questions are answered, and a plan of action is begun. Materials and procedures are decided upon by the nature of the plan. Involved cases may require the need for diagnostic models (either digital or standard) and other special digital films as needed.
